There are so many things I loved about Nathan and Kevin’s wedding day. They didn’t have a wedding party, and don’t get me wrong, big wedding parties can be fun, but I think there’s something very sweet and intimate about getting to spend extra time as a couple before the ceremony. They popped some champagne on the rooftop and just enjoyed each other’s company. They chose to get ready together, which can be so much more calming than the usual hotel rooms overrun with people (though, chaos has a certain charm as well, doesn’t it?). They made their day personal; some people do a sand pouring ceremony, or candle-lighting, but these two legends symbolically mixed a drink together! They had board games at their reception; they had Tacos and el elote; dancing mamas; and a heartwarming degree of love and support from friends and family. It was truly a joy to be there.
