These two. Oh, these two! (You may remember them from their Chicago-chic engagement session a while back.)
I’m not sure I’ve ever met two people who laugh as much as Erica and Terry do when they’re together. All the little details of this wedding were lovely, but what really stands out in my memory is how everyone bubbled with emotion. Color schemes, flowers, and decor are all fun and pretty, and certainly make for great photos, but I think, in the end, what people remember most is how they felt, and what moved them.
Erica summed up their relationship so well in her vows, when she said, “…with [Terry], I will laugh until the day I die.”
I also thought it was fantastic that they incorporated traditions from both of their backgrounds into the ceremony, and reception. The Irish hand fasting ceremony, combined with the breaking of glass was so unique, and a great way to celebrate the bonding of their families.
To my incredibly gifted associate photographer for the day, Jeff Johnson, of Rebirth Photo: Thank you! You captured so many great moments. I just wish we would have gotten a shot of us together, in our unintentionally matching outfits. 😉
