Ken and I did another road trip through Alberta and BC this summer, and while we were in Squamish we stopped for brunch at Fergie’s – the cafe at Sunwolf Riverside Cabins, which is the gorgeous venue where we had our vow renewal last year. Taking in the incredible scenery, I couldn’t help thinking it would be so great to shoot a session here.

Lidia is the amazingly talented makeup artist and hairstylist who made my best ladies and me all pretty last year. She is super sweet, and is so focused while she’s working – it really lets you know you’re in good hands. I just loved her, and decided to reach out and see if there was any slim chance she and her handsome husband Jordan might want to have a session with me. I can’t tell you how stoked I am that she said yes!

Lidia works at Sunwolf pretty often, so it was fun to see her get a turn in front of the lens at this very special place. You should check out her website. Oh my goodness! Are my besties and I on her homepage? I think so. 😉

I would be ecstatic to shoot more weddings and engagements out west. Bonus points if the couple are nature lovers with a taste for the wilderness. Any adventures you can dream up, I am in!
