These two are a lot of fun to spend an afternoon with! Their downtown Chicago engagement session began in the Daley Plaza, where we made some very Chicago photos featuring the Picasso and the incomparable architectural landscape. I am smitten with the backdrop of the Chicago Temple, in all it’s gothic, limestone glory, and of course City Hall. We followed that up with a little ice-skating at the Maggie Daley Ribbon. When I suggested it, I wasn’t sure if Jen could skate since she’s from Florida. Her response was, and I quote “I’ve only done it once but when I did, I rocked it!” Reading that email was the moment that I fell in love with these two. 😉

On the day of their session, the weather was great, so the rink was unbelievably crowded. We waited in a very long line for skate rentals, and we couldn’t get the right size skates, but guess what… She still totally rocked it! As a Canadian, I am sincerely impressed!
