Well, since Erica and Terry are currently enjoying their first days of wedded bliss (having said their vows this past Sunday), I thought it would be a pretty good time to share some photos from their engagement session in August (better late than never!).
Some of you Chicagoans might recognize Erica as the editor in chief of Cheeky Chicago — a website for us city girls — and, if you fancy yourself a foodie, you may know Terry from his work in the restaurant biz. These two are a Chicago couple if I’ve ever met one! They wanted their wedding and engagement session to reflect their love for the city, so we started our session at the iconic Clark Street bridge, and made our way to the place where they first met — the 22 Clark Street bus stop, in Lincoln Park — before ending the session with a romantic stroll at South Pond.
I always encourage couples to choose locations and details that are personal and meaningful, and I think these two seriously nailed it. In the years to come, they’ll be able to look back on these photos and see the exact spot where it all began.
Erica and Terry, you are such a fun and beautiful couple, and I can’t wait to start working on your wedding photos!
Congrats, you two.
